Acclaimed blues-rock group Blueprints upcoming live performance will deliver their signature brand of "blues-rock deluxe." Melding original songwriting with reimagined swing standards, the band delivers a dynamic live experience anchored by world-class slide guitar and piano arrangements. The high-energy show brings together New York Blues Hall of Fame pianist Dave Liddy and guitarist George Deveny, alongside the rhythm section of drummer Oscar Crandall and bassist Dan Porter. Special guest and Syracuse Area Music Awards (SAMMY) Hall of Fame harmonica player Skip Murphy will join the lineup.
Founded in 1988, Blueprints has spent decades exciting crowds with a powerful blend of original tracks and revitalized blues and swing standards. Known for Liddy’s driving piano work and Deveny’s explosive slide guitar technique, the band has built a reputation as a premier force in the Central New York music scene. Their acclaimed 1993 album, "House of Cards," remains a benchmark of their enduring legacy.
Over their storied career, Blueprints has shared the stage as an opening act for legendary blues icons, including Sonny Landreth, Luther "Guitar Jr." Johnson (of the Muddy Waters Band), and The Nighthawks.
The late Michael Packer, former Director of the NY Blues Hall of Fame, previously noted the mandatory appeal of the band's live sound, stating, "If you never heard George play, you should!"
