John John Brown: Songs, Stories, & Art-Lessons from Strangers
A one-man show where songs become a live graphic novel telling the stories of ordinary people and what saves them.
That’s the idea behind Songs, Stories, & Art: Lessons from Strangers, a visually rich and emotionally resonant live show from award-winning songwriter John John Brown. With only a guitar, a projector, and a storyteller’s heart, Brown guides audiences through 14 character-driven portraits, each one brought to life with original hand-drawn comics and narrative songs.Internationally touring singer-songwriter, born in London, based since 2007 in New York.. Since coming to the US he has won more than 50 songwriting and performing awards. “Terrific hooks, deep lyrics, awesome voice and nearly astonishing fingerpicking chops – the real deal” (Monterey County Weekly CA)
